ALLPATTAYA Rental Motercycles

A rental motorcycle is essential for getting around Pattaya comfortably.We provide only motorcycles from Japanese manufacturers. Unlike Japan's motorized bicycles, all Thai motorcycles are 100CC or higher, so they have horsepower and are very stable.

If you break down or puncture during the rental, we will repair it at our expense, so you can rest assured. There is a lack of air, there is some abnormal noise! If you notice unusual sounds or feel something is wrong with the bike, please contact us immediately.

About picking up and returning a motorcycle

When picking up or returning your rental motorcycle, please do so at the All Pattaya Bike Center (AP BIKE CENTER). The shop is located on Second Road, between Soi 8 and Soi 9.
Rental and return hours are from 10:00 to 18:59.
Pick-ups and returns outside business hours (19:00 - 09:59) cannot be accepted due to staff unavailability. Please visit us during business hours.
Please bring your passport or driver’s license (original or copy or International ) when renting. If you are renting multiple motorcycles, please prepare identification for each rider.
You may also stop by for tire inflation, mirror adjustments, and refueling support. (Updated December 24, 2022)

We added brand-new motorcycles to our fleet in September 2022 and February 2023.It is available in the stylish new “Ash Black” color, as well as a red-and-white color variation.

About License

◆Please make sure to obtain an International Driving Permit (IDP) for motorcycles (for vehicles over 50cc, not mopeds) before coming to Thailand.Enforcement against unlicensed driving in Thailand has become increasingly strict in recent years.
We are not responsible for any accidents, troubles, or fines resulting from driving without a valid license.You are also responsible for any penalties for traffic violations (failure to carry a license, illegal parking, speeding, etc.).
Please note that towing fees, storage charges, and vehicle release fees resulting from illegal parking are the customer’s responsibility.
◆Please understand that renting a motorcycle does not guarantee that accidents will not occur.
We strongly recommend purchasing overseas travel insurance that covers personal injury, injuries to others, motorcycle damage, and property damage.
If you get into an accident without a license, you will not be covered by insurance. In cases of drunk driving, insurance coverage will generally not apply. Please be aware of this.

About the range of travel

The permitted travel range is within a 25-kilometer radius from Pattaya, and only within Chonburi Province. Please note that our support services in case of trouble are limited to the Pattaya city area only.Please do not travel beyond this designated area.

About punctures, engine troubles, etc.

Punctures Within Pattaya City

For punctures occurring within Pattaya city, we will repair them free of charge, unless the puncture is caused by improper use (such as triple riding, long-distance travel over 50 km, or drunk driving).
Please bring the motorcycle to the AP BIKE CENTER.
If you have the puncture repaired at another shop in the city, we will reimburse the repair fee upon presentation of the receipt.
Other shops may charge for puncture repairs, but we provide this service free of charge as part of our customer support.

Other than the above

For engine problems, punctures outside Pattaya city, or any other abnormalities, please contact the All Pattaya BIKE CENTER so that we will check the situation first.
Repairs outside Pattaya city cannot be handled on-site by our staff.Depending on the situation, we may ask you to bring the motorcycle to a repair shop, or we may dispatch a tow truck.
All towing and related expenses will be borne by the customer.
Please note that depending on the cause and condition of the breakdown, actual repair costs may be charged to the customer.

About the accident

You are responsible for all costs related to accidents, including the other party’s repair fees, rental vehicle costs, and compensation for injuries or damages. Please drive safely.Repair costs in Thailand can be higher than expected, so please take extra care when driving.
Repair costs for the rental motorcycle will be charged to the customer. Even in the case of a minor fall, repair fees typically start from around 4,000 THB.
Drunk driving is strictly enforced in Thailand. If an accident occurs due to illegal driving, insurance will not apply, and we may refuse future rentals.

About the quality of the bike

Due to Thailand’s road conditions and climate, tire pressure can decrease more quickly, increasing the risk of punctures.Road conditions in Thailand may be rough in some areas.Please be especially careful when driving. It can cause a puncture.

Theft and loss

In the event of loss or theft, you will be charged the replacement value of the motorcycle. For older models, this is approximately 40,000 THB.
Although we have not had any cases of theft so far, please be sure not to leave the key in the motorcycle.
（In Thailand, leaving the key inserted makes the motorcycle extremely easy to steal.）
When parking, please be sure to lock the handlebar to help prevent theft.

Loss of keys and helmets

If your keys or helmet are lost or damaged, please contact an All Pattaya representative. The fee is 250 baht for lost keys and 300 baht (1) for lost or damaged helmets.
The 2023 model CLICK is not a traditional key type, but an electronic KEY, so if you lose it, it will be 1,250 baht. (2023.02.16)
Please note that after the condition check at the time of rental, we cannot be held responsible for any accidents, theft, or other issues that occur.However,If a puncture or mechanical problem occurs during normal use, we will repair the motorcycle or provide a replacement at no additional charge (when a replacement vehicle is available).
If you experience any trouble, please contact All Pattaya immediately. If it is late at night, assistance may be provided the following day, but we will respond as quickly as possible.

Gasoline at the time of return

We will provide the motorcycle with a full tank of fuel at the time of rental.If you return it with a full tank, there will be no additional fuel cost. If you are unable to refuel before returning the motorcycle, you may refuel at the bike center and pay the fuel cost there.

All rental bikes come with a smartphone holder.

You can go anywhere while looking at Google Maps.
We have received favorable reviews from users for their convenience.

Because the holder uses a simple spring-loaded design, it may not secure your smartphone firmly on rough or bumpy roads, and there is a risk that the phone may fall.
If the smartphone is damaged, such as a cracked screen, we cannot take responsibility for the repair cost.
If you are concerned, we recommend securing your phone additionally, for example with a rubber band.

Gas Stations

Locations of gas stations in the city

There are no gas stations in the central area of Pattaya. Please refer to the map below for nearby stations.

◆Please note that there is a median strip on North Pattaya Road and Sukhumvit Road (National Highway 3), so you cannot turn right to enter.

◆Gasoline in whiskey bottles may be sold in stores. The photo shows an example of our All Pattaya BIKE CENTER (AP BIKE CENTER).

When refueling at a gas station

Please open the fuel cap yourself and tell the attendant "91 (Gao Nung)".
Most gas stations in Pattaya are self-service (“Too Loi”), meaning you pay by yourself.
If you want to fill the tank completely, you can say "Temm Tung" (full tank).
The attendant may assist you, but in most cases you will fill the fuel yourself and close the cap afterward.

About Traffic Rules in Thailand

In Thailand, traffic rules are becoming stricter every year, and crackdowns are being strengthened. Please obey the traffic rules before driving.
Please note that we are not responsible for any troubles caused by traffic violations.

Driver's license

Make sure to get an International Driver's License in Japan. (Unless you have a Thai driver's license or an international driver's license issued by a foreign government to drive in Thailand.)
Currently, crackdowns have intensified, and fines for driving without a license are high.
Police crackdowns are carried out every day. Also, in the unlikely event that an accident occurs, it will be troublesome if you do not have a license.
Please be sure to carry your driver's license when driving.

Drunk Driving

Crackdowns on drunk driving have become much stricter in recent years. In addition, the fines are also high. Police crackdowns are carried out every day. Please do not do it at all.
Please note that drinking alcohol in the car is also strictly prohibited in Thailand.speeding There are also automatic speed enforcement devices on highways in Thailand, such as "Orbis" and "mousetrap" in Japan. For example, if the speed limit is 100 km, if you were driving at 115 km, you will be photographed so that you can see the number of the car, and you will receive a fine notice at a later date. You will be identified from the date and time of use and will be required to pay the fine at a later date. If you do not pay by yourself after returning to Japan, you will be charged a fine + 1,000B.

Helmet

Riding a motorcycle without a helmet is a traffic violation.For two-seaters, both must wear helmets.Police have recently increased enforcement of helmet laws.

Turn left at a red light

At intersections in Thailand, you can turn left even at red lights. It's different from Japan, so I'm surprised at first.
Please leave the left turn lane open for left-turn vehicles. I was made to sound the horn.

However, there are also intersections where you can't turn left at a red light. Where the next sign "TURN LEFT WAITING LIGHT" is installed, you will not be able to turn left at a red light.
Please note that it is also installed at some large traffic lights in Pattaya city. There are times when we are cracking down.

The meaning of curb colors

The colored stripes (black and white, yellow and white, and red and white) on the sidewalks that you see on Thai roads have the following meanings:

Red and white paint on sidewalks

The red and white painted sidewalks are prohibited from stopping or parking of any kind between designated boundaries.

Yellow and white paint on sidewalks

Yellow and white painted sidewalks are prohibited from parking during designated boundaries. However, it is possible to get on and off people, load and unload luggage, etc.

Black and white paint on sidewalks

Painted roads with alternating black and white are not suitable for parking conditions in the area. For example, you can park your car or motorcycle unless you have conditions such as parking only at a certain time or on an even day.
Also, parking is prohibited if there is a black-and-white painted sidewalk at the end of a bridge or tunnel.
